Free Experience

If you wish to maximize your return on time and money invested into playing World of Tanks, you need to purchase World of Tanks Tips & Tricks by Glen Myers. Free Experience can be used on any form of experience expenditure. It is acquired as a small percentage of your base experience earned in battle (tank experience). If you were to earn 500 experience during a Random Battle, then you would earn 20 Free Experience to spend as you wish (5%).

 

Most players save up their free experience in order to use it to purchase modules on new tanks. Nobody likes driving a stock tank! With a bank of free experience available, players can purchase a new tank and then immediately purchase the modules that will make it a much more enjoyable tank to play.

 

I used to do exactly what I described above. But since Wargaming started offering an Auction House at the beginning of the new year, and since they started allowing players to bid on special tanks using their Free Experience…I now save my free experience for use in the tank auction that will occur during the first few weeks of January.

 

The downfall to saving my free experience is that I will be using stock tanks every time I purchase a new tank. I’m fine with that. It makes the journey a bit of grind, but hey, that’s the game. If you’re a stat junkie, or a stat padder, then you will certainly want to use your free experience to enhance a brand-new tank as much as possible by purchasing available modules immediately upon purchasing the tank.

 

Long ago, I dropped my obsession with stats. I used to play specifically to raise my stat numbers, but no longer. I pretty much just play for fun (even though I play many hours per day). The game is a form of entertainment for me, a manner in which to kill time. These days, I’ll actually walk away from the computer if I get a phone call even if I’m in the middle of a battle. Yep, sucks to be on my team, but the game is simply not a priority for me like it as for some players. I tend to go AFK a lot nowadays.

 

In the beginning of this year (2022) I missed out on bidding on the Free Experience Auction Tank. If I had known there were going to offer it, I would have started saving my Free Experience months earlier. Live and learn. Next year I’ll be ready with at least 400k or possibly 500k free experience to use in the auction.
